Somatic therapy and movement

Reclaim the vitality you were born with

Hi, I’m May

I guide people into presence - listening to the inner wisdom of our bodies, without judgement.

In this space, experiences can finally be processed and we learn how to develop and use our own resources to steady us through the ups and downs of life.

Reconnecting to the aliveness we were born to embody.

Yoga teacher, body worker, women’s circle facilitator and focalizing practitioner, I have been helping people nourish and replenish themselves for over 15 years.

I help people come into full body-mind presence, through nature, somatic practices, movement and connection with self or others. It’s in this state of deep presence and acceptance of our current experience, where true healing and release is to be found.

Lovely things people say.

"Doing yoga with May feels so much more than simply ‘doing’. It feels like being who I want to be…mindful, peaceful and kind to myself. Joining May’s class has been my best decision this year and is really helping me to look after all of me."

- Gemma, Bristol

May has such a soothing presence and knows exactly how to get you to let go of your physical and mental stress. This workshop was the loveliest way to end the week and I can't recommend it highly enough!"

- Steph, Bristol

1:1 Somatic Therapy Sessions

Focalizing is a super accessible, trauma-informed, therapy that allows us to work together on a deep body level without needing to go into detail with words.

It enables emotions and experiences to be processed by the body, releasing tension and stagnation.
